Friday was a day of brilliance. lol. One for the legend books.

I had an eye doctor's appointment I was dreading because it's always an issue of whether or not my eyes have gotten better or worse or if I'll have to go back to wearing glasses. Well, I had just sat down in the chair and looked at the big E, and he flipped to the second row and I opened my mouth and... bam. The power went off. But not just the power to his office, oh no, the whole town lost power. It was great. And it was off for an hour, so althought I waited for about 45 minutse at the doc's, I didn't have to have my appointment. Wheee!

So then Alicia and I spent the day hanging out. It was awesome. We went to Wal-Mart, went out to eat at the Chinese place, and just generally had a really fun time. We even went to see a psychic, who read our Tarot cards and was shockingly fun and accurate. I liked her anyway. Totally with it. And it too was divine intervention because we wanted to see a movie but when we called she only had later appointments open, so we took them but right after we were finished eating, we were driving down the road and she called to say she had some cancellations could we make it in 15-20 minutes, which was perfect. We made it, we got the readings, and it was right in time for the movies. Go us!

We went to see The Pacifier and laughed our asses off. I loved that movie. I love Vin Diesel. We both don't know if we can ever look at him the same again, but I still love him. Maybe even more. Cause now he's made me laugh. Go him.

I spent the night hanging out with Tocarra*, and we watched Saved and hung out with our adopted brother, ate pizza, reveled in the glory of Coke in glass bottles, and had a great time.

It was just a really awesome day and I needed it and it rocked. The world needs more days like that. Where everything just goes right.
